Special symposium tomorrow for anyone interested in learning about melanoma

For the past couple of years, SCCA has partnered with the Melanoma Research Foundation and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center to bring the latest melanoma research from our experts to the public.

This is a free, day-long symposium and it’s taking place tomorrow, May 12. You’re welcome to check it out and consider joining us for the day. Please register  for this event, as breakfast and lunch are provided.

Throughout the day, you’ll hear about the clinical research going on that’s leading to successful new treatments for this deadly disease. You’ll learn about exciting new topics in medicine, too, like immunotherapy, which harnesses your body’s own immune system to help fight disease. Presentations will also discuss the biology of tanning and legislation surrounding this issue and the end of the day features an inspirational discussion with our patient panel of melanoma survivors.

And if you can’t make it, don’t forget to wear your sunscreen this weekend, at least.
