Corey Casper, MD, MPH, received a Global Health Award for his work in infection-related cancers. There’s a short article in the July issue of Seattle Magazine about him. Here’s an excerpt: “Dr. Corey Casper dreams of eradicating up to one-quarter of all cancers in his lifetime. That dream first led the 41-year-old infectious disease specialist to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and, eventually, to his life’s work in Uganda, where, historically, almost every diagnosis of cancer has meant a death sentence.” Read the full article here.

Congratulations to all of my old buddy’s from the SCCA!! Happy for you all and miss you
all. Next time you’re in the Phoenix area come by for a swim and a BBQ, I recommend winter/spring and most definitely not during the summer (120 degrees today!)
