Big thank yous for the Puyallup Walk to Beat Breast Cancer & Bras Across Lake Washington!

Wow! Saturday morning was a site to behold at the Puyallup Fair. Were you there to walk with us at the Do the Puyallup Walk to Beat Breast Cancer?

Nearly 500 people helped raise more than $20,000 for Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Thank you!

Walkers came dressed in decorated bras to support those who have survived breast cancer and to raise awareness for those who continue to fight it. You can see the great photos at KOMO’s Puyallup blog. You can still donate if you missed last weekend. Visit the walk website to contribute.

And, did you happen to see the bras flying over Lake Washington this morning?

Thanks, Leonard & the rest of the Star 101.5 team! The annual Bras Across Lake Washington flight was a kick!  Leonard parasails with donated bras between the 520 & I-90 bridges to bring awareness to breast cancer. After the flight, bras are donated to YWCA Women’s Shelter. If you didn’t catch a look at him this morning, check out this video of the flight.
