Seattle Cancer Care Alliance’s Executive Vice President Norm Hubbard has received the gold Outstanding Medical Center Executive – Seattle award by Seattle Business Magazine. Norm was presented the award at the magazine’s Health Care Leader awards event on Thursday.
The Washington Medical Center Executive of the Year award recognizes leaders who have excelled in managing a hospital or medical center in the Puget Sound region. Norm was a finalist for the award in 2013. Nominations for all the Leaders in Health Care awards were submitted by more than 79 health care institutions, companies, facilities and organizations across the state and winners were chosen by a panel of expert judges.
Norm joined SCCA in 1998 where he has been responsible for overall strategic leadership and operational management. Prior to arriving at SCCA, he was the Associate Vice President of Center Affairs for M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
